You, and who you should be.

Two page spread in the Sunday Times. I remember that...

You should be yourself, of course. At least, that's what they tell you in school. It's a lie. If you are not happy with who you are, then change. You don't stay your boring unhappy self. Unfortunately, most people are not happy with their lives, because consumerism doesn't work when fufilling that part of people, despite what advertisments say. Once you are really happy, then you can be yourself. And to be happy, you have to have fun. Have fun when ever and where ever you can. We did. Oh, and get a good computer...

486's (and to a certain extent, old Pentiums)

Our response: Sharply inhaled breaths, general tuts and a refusal to answer your emails.
Penance: Completing a complete set of GCSE French courseworks in a wooly jumper, whilst sitting in front of a radiator, in summer, then going to France and using your newly gained qualifications to work in a small greasy café for a week, for a wage of £100, and then spending that on a new processor.

Resolutions of below 800x600

Our response: Finding your house and nailing a 'Jehovahs Witnesses Welcome' sign to your front door.
Penance: Travelling to Dubai and 'negotiating' with four knife wielding dodgy arab geezers for a new monitor and graphics card.

Using Netscape

Our response: Executing you with a rusty harpoon gun.
Penance: Getting shipped to Mountain View, California in a polystyrene packing crate, and emerging with only a grubby fiver to start your own business, develop your own browser, and to have your company crushed by the corporate might of Microsoft and be forced to use their Internet Explorer.
