Labbage about the world

A Source says: "Noel and Liam will be furious to learn that their new album is avaiLable on the internet. The fact that anyone with a basic understanding of computers can get the album for nothing is scandalous. It could cost them millions in lost sales. Experts believe a fan uploaded the tracks after getting hold of an advance US promotional copy of the album. The full artwork for the album is also avaiLable for download. The news will come as a blow to Oasis as they recently took out a High Court order against bootlegger Steve Pockett to prevent him distributing the album illegally on the net."

Lab6 says: Dont worry: [zygoTeS] Track 3 is quiet and muffled

"Seagram vs. the Net" from Wired

Seagram Company CEO Edgar Bronfman Jr. has declared war on the Internet.

Seagram owns Universal Studios and Universal Music, and is also a member of the Recording Industry Association of America, which has sued Napster. Bronfman takes it personally.

"In the appropriation of intellectual property, my.mp3.com, Napster, and Gnutella ... are, in my opinion, the ringleaders, the exemplars of theft, of piracy, of the illegal and willful appropriation of someone else's property," Bronfman said in prepared remarks delivered at a recent conference.

He said anonymity on the Internet must be restricted, and compared the RIAA's efforts to World War II, which "was won by the Allied forces not only because we were right, but also because we had more men and women, more weaponry, and more money."

Fortunately for us, online there aren't any women, we use computers not weaponry, and money isnt even a wildcard.
