As if there were any diligent readers of the Lab6.calendar to know today is the second Lynz Day. So. At 10am (the rough time the lynz were given), no-one wrote an Adam's Lyn to symbolise the futility and immensity of the task. Times have changed, and no-one would remember the lynz, let alone care, if it wasn't for this site. So this soundbite of news is dedicated to the fact that things aren't what they used to be, and that Lab6 has changed from a frontend of the Yearbook to something more. A mailserver with dubious uptime. Crashing on, Bucklé realised his small shrine had been updated, which meant we finally got a caption for The Logo.
JT`s PC is arriving "next thursday" in a country where he has to
"get every goddam thing signed and countersigned by at least four
deceased great-aunts before they'll let you do anything or buy
anything".
I knew it was going to get a bit Brazilian.
I know for a fact that you've got skills.

Our host,
Leguin, has just been updated with a nice search facility, and
a pretty logo. Last week we learned exactely how much KHS want us
to go to a good university so that they look good in a statistics
chart, so we spent a week under the pale light of our screens in a
garage. DSLan2k was good.
If anyone hasn`t seen The Beach, they won`t be able to imagine the
webcafe at the end of the film, and JT using it to send us mail. He
recons he will be back in a few weeks from home, which means this
will get a bit funnier. Or Brazilian.
It happens.

DJ LS and DJ Martyn managed to blag their way into Skycast and show off their DJ
tekniq. Last night, so you missed it. Shame. I also found a bunch
of pages only found in the depths of the site, which are now
brought forward to the links bar, right and slightly futhur down
than normal since it is now a fairly long list: The Best of #Lewis,
LabNet, the exclusive Lab6 Bible Extract, the Lab6.Calendar, the
Misadventures, Corporal
punishment, Subtle dis, that old
chestnut no-one will ever mention again apart from us, y2k. Sad news on the KO99 front though, since Windows 2000 does not
like its old skool code. Some pictures were added about the
place too, although Bucklé
probably won`t be pleased given what our pictues have done for him
recently. Even /~abattis got
updated too, although all this gets in the way of the real
question:
What is a DJ if he can`t scratch?
We don`t know much about the management side of IT,
either.

"Time. It`s infinite and no-one owns it; so you can`t waste it." went the old argument. The new one reads: "Time. It`s infinite and now jak 0wns it; he spent 7 days wasting it scaining kodes.". Also, the mail addresses have all been sorted out now, apart from people too darn cool (Read: Adonis) to tell me their new address. KO99 recieved recognition from Hyoose M, so a big up to Simon for a successful product. Also, the Lab6 rips has gone up with media articles archived which have relevance to Lab6, and a page on our alledged aquaintance, Bucklé.
However, we do know about something chronick.

I won`t even mention the two things that made my day today, heh. Anyway, being my birthday I am imbued with cash, to the tune of two hundred and fifty quidneys, causing the idea of the Lab6.crew not having a laptop to be strangely evanescent. My abstaining from driving an automobile will demand the laptop be used in Jak`s car, so he can drive me places. Also, being my birthday, I scained a 24 hour connection for the day, since I`m Always Online. Several adverts got touched up, and a secret one JT forgot added to the rota. Also of notice is the addition of Klass of 99: the page with a game. You don`t see that often.
Eggdrops. Lots of Eggdrops.

Two things made my day today. But apart from donuts, Detonate.net`s geek chic house of humour has produced a dood incapable of getting a pr0m date, yet capable of producing this. The sustained laughter was only interrupted by the latest addition to PoM.
Heh.
Master Martyn Flex hits the Decks.

Resident dance music maestro MT was flexing his steel wheel skills last sunday, which serves as another chance for loads of people Jak doesn't know to come into #Lewis. Then again, flattering the boy will make his head bigger than his... well, those that know, kn0w, heh. The channel gained another dubious Jak3th Award, this time "Home of Time-Out-Toph3r" thanks to your friend and mine, Chris `Thank-god-it's-resumable` Bucklé. This industrial strength workhorse has started collateral damages on The Media through the use of heavy satire, the empty husks of which can be seen in The Page of Mohh. Oh, and the control section was updated. In any case, [jasun] is sorting out the email aliases finally, after moving from QMail to Postfix, so we should have those working by the end of the week. If you want one, mail Dave@Lab6.com: if your mail doesn't bounce then they are working - and Dunney says they are working for sure.
That crazy Y2K cat and his `associates` have been true to form, continuing "the ANARKY" by putting up fitted-to-page Lab6 logos around KHS. This is fine and dandy, since Lab6 ourselves have nothing to do with our homies and their posse (heh) incase they are rumbled. Which they were. Perhaps her strange ability to slowly rock backwards and forwards whilst talking to you isn't such a failed attempt at hypnosis, afterall, although he could benefit from such el8 bu5t t3kn1q, what with all those poison-pen males going about the place.
